The Kiwanis Club of Melbourne is thrilled to announce its scholarship program, made possible through the generous contributions to The J.W. Vaughn Scholarship Fund, The Prakash Scholarship Fund, as well as the Club’s own donations and fundraising initiatives. These scholarships are dedicated to supporting deserving students within our local Melbourne area.
Our Club is committed to recognizing students who have displayed exceptional dedication and determination throughout their high school years, even in the face of challenging circumstances related to family, work, or other commitments. The selection process, meticulously overseen by our dedicated scholarship committee, takes into consideration academic achievements, community service, and financial need. We also highly value students who have actively contributed to their school and community, especially those who have taken on leadership roles in Kiwanis Sponsored Youth programs such as Key Club.
We enthusiastically welcome applications from students aspiring to attend either a four-year college or university, or those planning to pursue education in a community college or vocational program. As part of our thorough selection process, some applicants may be invited for interviews to further evaluate their qualifications and achievements.
We extend our deepest gratitude to The J.W. Vaughn Scholarship Fund, The Prakash Scholarship Fund, and all other contributors to the Kiwanis Scholarship Fund. Your support enables us to make a meaningful impact on the lives of deserving students.
